the team
Tom, D
om, Hammy and Tim are the students bravely setting out on this voyage into the unknown.
New to the School and new to the German language, they remain undaunted by the prospect of this extra challenge in their attempt to compress two years + of learning German into one academic year.
But it’s always nice to be a chosen one, and, while others of their peers involved in mobile device pilots will only be so for relatively short periods of time, these guys are in it for the long haul.
And, as long as they don’t forget to charge the netbook overnight and avoid leaving it at home or somewhere around the School, it should all be fine.
And as for those supposedly in charge? Well, the usual suspects are …..
Mr C
Teacher of 3-5 German among various other things.
Things which include being Deputy Head Academic.
Long time enthusiast for the application of technology to language learning.
Entirely to blame when it all goes pear-shaped.
Including this project.
Most likely to say – I’m not sure I got that e-mail.
Least likely to say - Can I have that as hard copy?
Lifetime ambition – too late for that kind of thing.
And, finally, the man without whom none of this would be possible …..
Director of Communications and the man with a finger in every single pie (metaphorically speaking) in the School.
Trailblazer and innovator.
The man who makes everything happen.
Including this project.
Most likely to say – I’ll sort it out later today.
Least likely to say – I’ll delegate that to one of my team.
Greatest achievement – too many to list here.

Uncle Bob sounds like one hell of a guy!!
He most certainly is.
